The Office of Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) helps students who are currently, or considering, living off campus. OCSS strives to provide students with the resources necessary to have a positive off-campus experience.
Mississippi State University’s Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) exists to positively impact and benefit students, the university, and the surrounding area. OCSS provides centralized resources and support to cultivate independent life skills, develop strong civic leaders, and foster involvement in the University and the Starkville community.
We have information regarding municipal, cultural, social and safety issues to help you make the most of living off-campus. We also serve as a resource for both students who currently live off-campus, as well as those who are thinking of moving off-campus. While we do not make living arrangements for off-campus students, we do provide students with information on what is available. Students should contact landlords and potential roommates directly.
